Walleye Opener is Only 47 Days Away!Walleye opener is approaching very fast! The snow at the lodge is down to almost nothing. There is still around 20 inches of ice on the big lakes and 10-13 inches on the smaller lakes. We are predicting ice out to be around April 28th.
Big changes for us! We have sold our house in Indiana! We love Manotak so much we will be living there all year long this year! Nobody has lived at Manotak all year for 25+ years so we are very excited to see our first Northwestern Ontario winter this year! We are also excited to be able to do maintenence and projects through the winter and of course a lot of ice fishing!
But first our number 1 focus is getting camp all opened up for everyone to come and enjoy the best vacation in the world! We will be in camp tomorrow starting to get things opened up and getting supplies delivered for the 2016 season.
We still have quite a few openings for September. Remember it is buy one get one HALF OFF for that month.
