THINGS TO DO
Fishing is the number one reason guests travel to Manotak Lodge. If you are interested in other things to do besides fishing, here is a list of ideas:
– Fall grouse hunting begins Sept 15th
– Blueberry picking August and September
– Wildlife viewing – see loons, eagles, bear, moose, and more!
– Day trips for sightseeing a shopping to Red Lake or Kenora; both cities have museums and unique shopping
– Visit Perrault Falls only restaurant and tavern – The Whiskey Jack – located about a mile from camp
– Take a swim
– Relax around the fire pit and grill hot dogs and/or s’mores
– Enjoy your favorite beverage on your deck and listen to the haunting sound of the loons
– Enjoy games and the pool table in the main lodge; satellite TV also available
– Challenge others to a game of bag toss or horseshoes
-Bring your ATV and explore the hundreds of miles of logging trails; take a fishing pole and explore a bush lake in the middle of the wilderness
– Take a walk around camp or visit a nearby Provincial Park for some hiking
