Fly-Out Canada Fishing Trips

Enhance your fishing adventure at Manotak Lodge with fly-out fishing trips to a remote lake in Ontario, Canada. For a truly wild experience, we can also arrange a daily fly-out fishing trip to untouched wilderness lakes where the Walleye, Northern Pike, and Smallmouth Bass fishing rank among the finest anywhere in the world.

Quality Boats and Motors

Our package plan boats and customer service set the standard for quality and comfort on the water and are part of what makes us one of the best fishing resorts in Ontario, Canada.

Each 18-foot Lund or G3 boat is powered by a reliable 50 h.p. Yamaha Four Stroke engine and fully equipped with depth finders, aerated live wells, Millennium swivel seats, and flat floors for a smooth fishing experience. We provide boat cushions, floating minnow buckets, anchors, paddles, and landing nets at no extra cost, along with 20 gallons of gas included with every rental.

Each evening of your fishing trip, our friendly dock hand refuels your boat, supplies fresh live bait, and ensures you’re ready for another great day on the water. Minnows, leeches, and worms are always available for your convenience.

Blueberry Picking

From July to August, the forests surrounding Manotak Lodge burst with the vibrant color and sweetness of wild blueberries, adding a delicious twist to your fishing trip. When the bushes are heavy with perfectly ripened blue/purpleish fruit waiting to be picked. Our welcoming lodge staff are always ready to share local tips and guide you to the best berry-picking spots for a truly memorable outdoor experience.

Day Trips

Guests at our lodge can take a break from fishing and enjoy scenic day trips to either Red Lake or Kenora, two Northern Ontario, Canada towns rich in culture, history, and charm. In Red Lake, visitors can discover the Red Lake Regional Heritage Centre, which highlights mining history and Indigenous heritage, or explore the scenic Woodland Caribou Provincial Park. In Kenora, the Lake of the Woods Museum offers insights into the region’s history, while the downtown area features boutique shops, galleries, and unique Canadian crafts.
